We have some really nice items from the pre-settlement period.
Here at the museum we honor Hibbings history going back to lumbering and then Frank Hibbing, discovering the natural ore and moving to taconite and which is what we're mining today.
We have a beautiful, display that was built here, a model that was built by a group of volunteers.
This is north Hibbing.
Our original town.
We have a display of a house on the move, We have an almanac, which is really fun because we invite people.
Every decade has items from that decade, How far back can you go, how far back do you remember?
One of the places in this museum that I am particularly proud of is our Hall of Service and Achievement, which are the plaques people who have lived in town all their lives and never been here.
And then for some reason, somebody gets them here and and they will say, I had no idea this was here.
This is so neat.
